John 6:5-13
5 When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” 6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.
7 Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages[a] to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!”
8 Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother,spoke up, 9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”
10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). 11 Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
12 When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” 13 So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.

Verbeel jou gou dat jy rustig by die huis verkeer, en skielik daag daar net 'n menigte (duisende) mense by jou huis op vir aandete?! Sou jou begroting dit kon behartig? Sou jy genoeg sitplek vir almal kon organiseer? Sou jy genoeg tyd he om 'n feesmaal te kon produseer?? Om die perfekte geleentheid te reel, is daar baie faktore om in ag te neem... Beplanning, hulpbronne en nogmaals beplanning is aan die orde van die dag!! Dinge om te oorweeg: 'n Venue wat groot genoeg sal wees om
al die mense te akkomodeer... 'n Topgehalte spysenier om kos te kan voorsien vir die menigte... 'n Begroting en fondse om die kos te kan koop, asook om die spysenier se salaris te betaal! dekor?! Beplanning om te weet hoeveel kos noodsaaklik sal wees om almal te vul!K
God het vir ons deur hierdie wonderwerk net weereens bewys dat NIKS onmoontlik is nie!!! Hy het in 'n japtrap gesorg vir die venue, Hy het 2 vissies en 5 brode in 'n absolute feesmaal omskep, en daar was soveel oorvloed dat daar selfs 12 mandjies kos oorgebly het!! Dis net weereens vir ons bevestiging dat ons 'n Lewende God dien!!! As ons God DIT kon doen, kan Hy siekte genees, verhoudings herstel, liefde laat blom, geldsake laat uitwerk, werke laat "flourish" en eksamen stress vir ons beheerbaar maak... God wat daagliks nog wonderwerke doen, is in staat om soveel meer te doen as wat jy kan bid of dink - aan al daardie vrese wat jy vandag deurmaak!!! He IS ABLE!!!
