Hoop dit gaan goed met elkeen van julle!  Laaste mail wat ek vir die hele groep stuur, hierna sal ek net kommunikeer met die wat betrokke wil wees.

 

Ons projek reëlings het bietjie verander.  Die skoolhoof van Lavis Rylaan Primer het my weer gekontak en gesê dat hulle ‘n skenking klere ontvang het, en dat sy dink dat ons eerder ‘n ander instansie moet help.  Ek het intussen ‘n ander skool gevind, en die skoolhoof is BAIE opgewonde! 

 

Range Laerskool in Matroosfontein is dus die skool wie ons hierdie jaar gaan bless met truie en skoene.  Hulle dra grys truie, grys sokkies en swart skoene.  Ekt gaan pryse uitvind by Ackermans en Pep en dit is baie dieselfde.  Die groot uitdaging is dat daar 300 kinders is, so dis 100 meer as wat ons oorspronklik gedink het.  Ekt dus goedgedink dat ons eers moet poog om vir elke kind ‘n trui, sokkies en skoene te kry, en dan – as daar nog mense oor is wat wil help / fondse wat ons oor het om aan te wend, dat ons vir hulle windbreakers kan aanskaf.

As jy dalk van ENIGE iemand weet wat nog betrokke sal wil raak, stuur asb die mail aan.  Ek wag op klaslyste van die juffrou, so laat weet my asb WAT jy sal wil bydra.  Dan merk ek dit op my lys, en ek stuur vir jou die inligting deur wat jy sal benodig.  Die pryse wissel afhangend van die grootte items wat jy aanskaf. (bv ‘n kleiner trui, is goedkoper as ‘n groter trui).

Hi all,

 

Hope you are doing well!  This is the last communication I will send to everyone, after this I will only communicate to those who wants to be involved in the project.

 

Our winter project has changed a bit. The principal of Lavis Rylaan Primary was in contact with me and she said that the school received a clothing donation, and that she feels that we should bless another institution with our initiative. I have found another school, and the principal was VERY excited when I spoke to her!

 

Range Primary in Matroosfontein is the school which we will bless with jerseys and shoes.  The prescribed school clothes are grey jerseys, grey socks and black shoes. I went to both Ackermans and Pep and the prices are more or less the same. The challenge we are facing, is that there are 300 children, which is 100 more than we originally projected. I have therefore decided that we should first try to get each child a jersey, socks and shoes and if we have funds leftover / additional people to help, we can then make a call in the end to buy each child a windbreaker too.

If you know of any people who would still like to get involved, please send this email on to them!  It will be greatly appreciated!!  I am still waiting on the headmaster – they will send me class lists asap, as well as the sizes of the children.  All of the above prices are dependent on the size you buy.  Please let me know WHAT you would like to contribute.  I will then send you the necessary information, as soon as I have it available.
