Lees jou Bybel, bid elke dag!  Verlustig jou in Hom, en Hy sal jou gee, die begeertes van jou hart, verlustig jou in Hom…   Dis liedjies wat ons in die Kerk sing, maar besef ons werklik wat die woorde beteken?  Ons moet vir God NOMMER 1 maak, en vertrou dat Hy die beste weet…  Ek wil gou hê jy moet dink aan toe jy klein was en daar sekere dinge was wat jy baie graag wou gehad het, maar jou ouers het nee gesê…  Of dit nou was om na ‘n sekere partytjie toe te gaan, na ‘n sekere tyd uit te bly, met jou fiets te ry verby ‘n sekere punt – watookal…  Hoe het dit jou laat voel??  Jy het heel waarskynlik opstandig en kwaad gevoel!  Ek is ook seker dat daar van julle is, wat steeds gedoen het wat julle verbied was om te doen J  Ek weet van ‘n hele paar gevalle waar mense nie vir hul ouers geluister het, gedoen het wat hulle wou, en waar daar dan baie slegte nagevolge was…

Hoekom sê ouers nee?  Want hulle het meer wysheid en hulle het visie, en hulle wil net die BESTE vir jou hê…  Al maak hulle soms besluite waarmee jy nie saamstem nie…  God is dieselfde…  Is daar sekere goed waarvoor jy al lank bid en jy ontvang dit net nie?  Of is daar goed waarvoor jy gebid het, en dit het net glad nie uitgewerk nie?  Ek kan sommer hoor hoe julle JA sê…  My vriend, en vriendin!!  God WEET wat jou toekoms inhou…  Hy weet wat Hy vir jou beplan en Hy weet wat jy nodig het…  Wanneer jy nie ontvang waarvoor jy bid nie, of wanneer dinge anders uitwerk as dit waarvoor jy bid, is dit nie so dat God jou STRAF vir dit wat jy al verkeerd gedoen het nie?!  Dit is omdat HY vir jou SOVEEL beter drome droom, en soveel beter dinge vir jou beplan, as wat jy vir jouself droom en beplan…  Ons mis partykeer uit op seerkry, en hartseer omdat ons Hemelse Pa ons dit SPAAR deur sommige gebede nie waar te maak nie…  Al wat ons kan doen, is om ons gebede in God se hande te plaas – DAAGLIKS – en dan in GELOOF te glo en te vertrou dat God die dinge sal uitwerk, sodat jy die GROOTSTE seën daaruit kan ontvang…
