Colossians 1:9-12

As jy jou lewe in een woord vir my moet opsom – wat sal dit wees?  Drama? Gelukkig? Plain sailing?  Opdraend? Challenging?  Ek dink almal van ons het al een van die moontlike woorde beleef J  Baie keer is dit nie die situasie wat so challenging is nie, maar die mense in jou lewe wat dit meer challenging maak oor hoe hulle dit hanteer…  Almal van ons het verskillende maniere van hoe ons moeilike tye hanteer…  Sommige praat non-stop daaroor…  Ander wil nie daaroor praat nie…  Ander wil eers deur die situasie werk, self daarmee deal, en sal dan ander mense “inlaat”…  Sommige mense bou weer mure, en sal maak of die situasie nie bestaan nie, ten einde daarmee te deal…  Wanneer ek vriende oor my pad kry wat deur moeilike tye gaan, probeer ek myself altyd indink – as dit EK moet wees, hoe sal ek wou hê moet mense my ondersteun of vir my daar wees?  En wanneer ek daaroor gedink het, probeer ek in my manier dan daar wees vir ander…

Miskien sit jy tans in ‘n ongelooflike moeilike situasie en probeer jy om nog sin daarvan te maak…  Miskien voel jy dat jy niemand het om mee te kan praat nie, of miskien wil jy net nie praat daaroor nie…  Weet net dat God net ‘n gebed ver is…  Hy sluimer nie, en Hy slaap nie…  Hy sal jou NOOIT judge nie!  En dit wat jy aan Hom vertel, sal NET by Hom bly…  Moenie probeer om 100 dae vooruit te lewe nie…  Vat dit DAG vir DAG en vertrou dat God ‘n pad sal maak waar jy geen pad kan sien nie…  God gee aan ons elke dag genoeg krag, genade en insig vir die volgende 24uur…  Maak gebruik daarvan – en maak die meeste van die 24uur voor jou!
