Joshua 24:15

As jy ‘n lekker rugby game, of “rock show” wil gaan kyk – hoe gaan jy seker maak dat jy nie gaan uitmis nie?  Jy gaan verseker ‘n kaartjie koop?!  Ek’t die naweek ‘n “show” gaan kyk, en terwyl ek dit beleef het, het ek besef dat soveel mense uitmis op soveel goeie goed, en seën van God in hul lewens, omdat hulle “vergeet om ‘n kaartjie te koop”…  En die beste deel daarvan om deel van God se Koninkryk te wees, is dat dit jou NIKS kos nie…  Al wat jy moet doen, is om jou hart vir God oop te maak…  Vir Hom ‘n plekkie in jou lewe te gee, en Hom toe te laat om jou te help met al daardie dinge wat soos ‘n BERG op jou skouers is…  Wanneer God in ons harte werk, is dit soos ‘n chain reaction...

Hy sal daardie behoefte in jou hart sit om vir mense iets te beteken…  Om God se liefde aan die mense rondom jou te versprei…  Josua is vir ons ‘n absolute voorbeeld…  Nadat hy die Israeliete in die beloofde land ingelei het (Josua 24), stel hy die Israeliete voor ‘n keuse – OF julle kan in God glo – wat aan julle die beloofde land gegee het, of julle kan julle geloof in julle afgode stel…  Josua se lewe was so ‘n voorbeeld van iemand wat sy geloof in God gestel het, dat hy die Israeliete deur sy dade inspireer om vir God te volg…  Ek en jy kan ‘n impak in die Koninkryk maak deur dieselfde te doen…  Ons moet ons “kaartjie koop” – deur vir God te aanvaar as ons Hemelse Pappa, en deur ons dade dit vir ander duidelik te maak dat ons weet waar ons krag vandaan kom…  “Actions speak louder than words…”  Soos die storietjie hierbo – as jy impak in 1 persoon se week kan maak hierdie week, is dit reeds ‘n groter deurbraak as wat jy net nie probeer het nie…  Jy is nie maar “toevallig” waar jy jouself bevind nie…  God wil en gaan jou gebruik om iemand te wees wat impak maak!  En God is groter as daardie berge wat tans op jou skouers rus…  Gee dit vir Hom…  Serve Hom – Hy sal jou NIE teleurstel nie…  Hy het die Israeliete bevry, talle wonderwerke in hulle lewens laat gebeur, te midde van al die swaarkry wat hulle moes face, en op die ou end, het Hy dinge in plek laat val deur hulle in die beloofde land in te lei…  Hy is steeds dieselfde God die God wat die Israeliete bevry het – Hy sal sorg vir die deurbrake – sorg jy net dat jou vertroue in Hom is, en dat jy nie uitmis op alles wat Hy vir jou het, omdat jy nie plek vir Hom in jou hart / lewe het nie…  Koop jou kaartjie - maak tyd vir God!
