I will climb my watchtower now, and wait to see what answer God will give to my complaint. But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!

There were lots of things I wanted to make up to you when you returned from Vietnam.

Voel jy baie keer te bang om jou opinie te lewer, of om jou stempel af te druk, want “wat sal die mense sê?” Of voel jy bang om te wees wie jy werklik is (soos wanneer net jy en God bymekaar is), want wat as niemand van my hou nie? Wat as ek nooit werk kry gebasseer op my persoonlikheid, of goed is in sport, of nooit daardie “een” kry om my lewe mee te deel nie? Wat as niemand my kies nie?? Ek het die naweek ’n aanhaling gelees wat vir my baie sin maak - “The unhappiest people in this world, are those who care the most about what other people think.” ― C. JoyBell C.

Om aanvaar te word, en onvoorwaardelik lief te hê, of liefgehê te word, moet jy NET jouself wees… Ek weet ons leef in ’n wêreld waar die teendeel baie keer die EINTLIKE waarheid is… Status, geld, populariteit, wie jy ken ens, definieer baie keer hoe jy aanvaar word deur mense… God het jou op ‘n unieke wyse beplan, en geskape, en jy is nie per toeval soos jy is nie… Jy is KOSBAAR… Indien jy aan jouself moet verander om aanvaar te word, of om iemand se liefde te ontvang, is die ander persoon, of persone, NIE DIE MOEITE WERD NIE! Jesus het jou ONVOORWAARDELIK lief, NES jy is… En Jesus wil hê dat jy jou omring deur mense wat jou aanvaar en liefhet, NES jy is… Moenie tyd mors op mense wat jou seermaak nie - mens moet vriendelik met almal wees, maar hou jou vriendskap duur... Hy het vir ELKE persoon ook iemand uitgesit, wat jou SAL liefhê – nes jy is… AS jy hierdie gedig hierbo lees –dit getuig van iemand wat geweet het wat onvoorwaardelike liefde is… Selfs al het die persoon kwaad geword, het dit nie sy liefde vir die vrou weggeneem nie… Dis soos wat God ook is – al breek ons sy hart, met dinge wat ons verkeerd doen, Sy liefde vir ons sal NOOIT vergaan nie… Hy is bereid om ons te vergewe – 70x7 keer, mits on berou het en die dinge bely wat ons verkeerd doen… Hy het immers vir ons aan 'n Kruis gesterf om ons sondes alles uit te vee... Hy sal vir jou veg – soos in ’n sprokie, waar’n ridder vir die prinses veg… Jy hoef nie bang te wees nie… Jy hoef NIKS te FEAR nie, want God is groter… Mense wat jou nie werd is nie, is die wat jou gewoonlik judge, en “not worthy” laat voel… Baie keer, is dit ’n uitroep van hulle eie “insecurity”… My pa het al baie vir my gesê – as mense oor jou praat, moet jy eintlik goed voel, want jy is dan belangrik genoeg vir hulle om hul tyd op te spandeer… Moenie dat MENSE jou onderkry nie… Jy is ’n KONINGSKIND! Dit gee jou ‘n “edge” in die lewe, wat min ander mense het!
