Psalm 91

"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side,

ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes

Voel jy lus om tou op te gooi?  Het jy dalk te veel hooi op jou vurk, en sak die uitdagings net van alle kante af op jou toe?  Die maklike uitweg sal dan wees om net te sê – ek gee OP…   Tot hier toe nou en nie verder nie…  So ‘n gejaag soos die lewe vandag is, met beperkte tyd om dinge gedoen te kry, en baie onbelangrikhede wat jou kosbare tyd opneem, kan dit regtig maklik raak om net te besluit – dis nou klaar…  Eks moeg gesukkel, ek kan nie meer deur hierdie uitdagings nie, dit voel of ek ‘n verlore stryd stry…

 

Iets wat my nogals laat dink het is hierdie aanhaling van Jane Addams…  Niks kan erger wees as om te vroeg moed op te gegee het, en handdoek in te gegooi het, net voor die deurbrake kom nie…  Die wiel draai altyd onverwags…  God sorg vir deurbrake wanneer jy dit die minste verwag…  As Jesus net besluit het, tot hier nou – Ek is moeg gely, Ek is moeg van vrees en bang wees – Ek weier om aan die Kruis te sterwe?  Wat sou van ons geword het?  Ons lewe soos ons dit daagliks leef, sal geen sin in dit gehad het nie!  Ons sou gelewe het, maar NET met ‘n vooruitsig om te sterwe…

 

JY maak ‘n verskil daar waar jy jouself daagliks bevind…  Of dit nou is om na jou gesin om te sien, of om te werk, of skool toe te gaan, of te studeer – jy is waar jy is omdat God jou daar wil hê…  Partykeer moet mens dinge aanpak wat heeltemal buite jou comfortzone is, omdat jou pad daarheen gelei het…  If God brings you to it, He will get you through it…  God is by jou, en Hy stap elke tree, van elke dag saam met jou…  Wees soos ‘n posseël – al vat die pos dalk partykeer super lank om by sy bestemming uit te kom, stick die posseël op die posstuk totdat dit sy weg tot by die spesifieke posbus gevind het…  God stick daagliks so by jou – en Hy sal sorg dat jy veilig by die bestemmings met die grootste moontlike seen vir jou lewe sal uitkom…  Wag op God!  Hy sal sorg vir die deurbrake - op die REGTE tye!!  Hy is ook in beheer vir die dag wat voorle - vertrou net!  Ek bid dat dit vir jou baie geseend sal wees! :)
