Ek’t die helfte van die gedagteki al ‘n week terug geskryf – min wetende dat ons preek van Sondag, direk hierby aangesluit het! Hoe amazing is God dat Hy weet wanneer ons watter boodskappe nodig het!  Ek wil kortliks Gary Kieswetter se preek saamvat – sodat jy so gebless kan word soos ek was!  God maak aan ons ‘n belofte, gee aan ons ‘n strategie en waarborg ‘n goeie resultaat…  Maar somtyds vat die resultaat baie langer as wat ons sou kon hoop of dink…  Ons menslike natuur maak ons soms angstig wanneer die deurbrake net nie wil kom nie, of wanneer dit voel asof God ver van ons weg is…  Soveel so, dat ons baie keer “opgee” net voordat die deurbraak kom.  Die belangrikste vir ons om te onthou, is dat God REEDS weet wat in ons toekoms lê asook hoe ons moet stap om daar uit te kom…  Al wat ons moet doen – is om Hom te vertrou!

Dis maklik om te bid wanneer dinge goed gaan – wanneer ons nie ‘n bekommernis in die wêreld het nie…  DIt raak moeilik, wanneer ons nie resultate sien nie, en wanneer angs en onsekerheid die oorhand in ons lewens kry…  Dit raak moeilik wanneer ons omring is deur negatiewe mense, wat heeltyd saadjies van ongeloof in ons gemoed plant…  God kom egter ALTYD terug na Sy beloftes toe…  Dis SO belangrik dat ons dit sal onthou!  Hy belowe ons in Philippians 1:6 – “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus…”  God sal nie iets begin en dit nie klaarmaak nie…  Jy was geskape met ‘n spesifieke DOEL ingedagte…  Staan vas by God en Sy beloftes…  Hou aan bid wanneer die pyn so fel is, wanneer die onsekerheid so groot is…  God sal jou NOOIT verlaat nie, en jou NOOIT in die steek laat nie!
